HCROC held the 3rd quarter of Harvard Table and invited Dr. Clifford Chao, Vice President of China Medical University to deliver a speech on Artificial Intelligence for Medical Application.
Dr. Chao’s research focus includes IMRT (intensity modulated radiation therapy) and combining the use of PET (positron emission tomography) and CT (computed tomography) images to direct customized radiation treatment plans tailored specifically to individual patients and the molecular characteristics of each tumor. He shared his aspects on searching for new ways of fighting diseases and improving patient care with artificial intelligence which is ambitious and promising in medical application.
James Wang, Vice President of the Club, hosted the dinner speech and Eric Chuang, Director of the Club, was the day chair of the event.
